A Piece of Arundel’s History

Longmace House holds a fascinating past, once serving as The Gardeners Arms public house in the mid-19th century. Located on what was then Mill Lane, the pub thrived between 1841 and 1850 before closing its doors later that century.

Following its time as an inn, the property became a celebrated jewellers dating back to 1770, helping shape the historic character you see today. Now a lovingly restored retreat, Longmace House invites you to experience a unique piece of Arundel’s heritage, perfectly positioned for you to explore our historic castle, charming streets, and the beautiful River Arun.
